Model KT-23
Remote Controlled - Diesel or Electric. The
KT-23 is built for tough demolition jobs that require a hard hitting hammer
on a compact carrier. Designed for steel mill applications, this versatile
machine also performs well in other primary metal plants where refractory
tear out work is a critical maintenance function. The KT-23 has a rugged
crawler undercarriage to climb over uneven ground and a telescoping boom
to reach the hammer into tight places. Powerful hydraulics provide high
break out force to remove hard slag build-up or monolithic refractory. The
remote pendant control lets the operator move to his best position for visibility
and safety which improves tear-out performance and precision. The results
are quicker relines with less down time production loss for metal producers.

Model KT-30
Built specifically for impact hammering,
the KT-30 has powerful and well protected hydraulics, along with a remote
control system that gives operators the confidence and safety to "muscle-out"
tough jobs.
A unique double pivot boom designs keeps overall profile height low but
"unfolds" for maximum reach when needed. Clearly built for steel mill duty,
the KT-30 can bring reliability and toughness to any demolition job. When
demolition work needs to be done, don't destroy your other machine that
was built to dig dirt.

Model KT-15K
Cut Costs by 50%! Reduce Downtime
by 75%! The key to this productive method of refractory tear out is
the KT-15K machine, designed and built in the USA specifically for kiln
use. The KT-15K quickly strips coating, bricks and castable refractory with
minimum effort using powerful hydraulics. A skid steer loader with a radius
bottom bucket carries the material out of the kiln. No need to rotate the
kiln, so other repairs can be done at the same time. The KT-15K can achieve
production rates in excess of twelve feet per hour on average size kilns.

Model KT-5
The KT-5 is a small, remote controlled
track loader that fits almost anywhere to mechanize those tough-to-handle
jobs. It saves labor, cuts cost and slashes turn-around time on production
equipment.
The KT-5 breaks down into three major components that can be assembled
in an hour. Disassembled, it is small enough to fit through a 36" diameter
round access hole. It can clean open hearth flues, go inside a T-Ladle,
or fit in other spots too tight for any other machine.
Attachment Selection: The KT-5 is available with two basic attachments,
loader lift arms and a telescoping boom. Quick change demolition hammers
and loader buckets are available for both attachments, so you can break
out brick or slag and then load out loose material.

Model EL-1300 Refractory Tear-Out Skimmer
Keibler Thompson Corporation's EL-1300
machine is built specifically for refractory tear-out of electric furnaces
and ladles. This steel mill proven machine can handle complete de-bricking
of average water cooled furnaces in less than 5 hours from time of last
tap. This includes cool down, set-up and brick removal. Between furnace
rebuilds, the EL-1300 performs ladle maintenance such as rim cleaning, porous
plug removal and complete refractory tear out. Full utilization of the EL-1300
along with its time saving advantages makes it a cost effective maintenance
machine.

Model RFL-2 - Reheat Furnace Loader
Keibler-Thompson's model RFL machine is a remote
controlled loader built specifically for reheat furnace clean-out. The RFL
is small and compact but has the power to move hundreds of pounds of heavy
scale with each bucket load. The crawler undercarriage provides good traction
and it allows the machine to work on very hot surfaces. Remote control lets
the operator choose the optimum position for visibility, comfort and safety.
Complete scale removal of a typical reheat furnace can be accomplished in
24 hours using the RFL machine.

Model SK-25 - Ladle Skimmer
The SK-25 ladle skimmer is used for removing molten slag from hot iron or
steel ladles. Its fast and powerful boom allows quick skim times and gives
precise control for efficient slag removal. The proven friction roller drive
design eliminates problems with rack and pinion or chain drive of similar
equipment. Quick change feature allows the entire boom to be exchanged in
less than one hour to reduce maintenance outages. Set up in a variety of
configurations, the SK-25 machine the mounting pedestal base, skimmer boom,
hydraulic power unit and operator control station. KT engineers will customize
the right system for you.

Model Stoker
Electric Powered - Hydrostatic - Tight Steering
Radius. The KTS stoking machine is used for stirring and mixing batch
materials in continuous feed submerged arc furnaces. The high temperature
and extreme operating requirements of this type of work have brought about
the rugged design of the KTS stoker. For heavy duty service, this hydrostatic
unit has a unibody frame constructed of 2" steel plates that also provide
good balance and positive traction. The oversized hydraulic reservoir and
heat exchanger help keep the hydraulic system running cool and efficient.
Power steering and a tight turning radius allow the KTS stoker to maneuver
in the most confined spaces and the single pivot boom makes operation quick
and easy. Variations of the basic model are available to suit your specific
needs.
